Terms & Conditions

MINIMUM SPENDS 

Please note between April and October, there is a minimum wedding day spend of £350

Between November & March weddings require a minimum spend of £240

Smaller bookings may be considered on Monday-Wednesday bookings.

WEDDING BOOKING INFO 

A non-refundable booking fee of £50 is required to reserve your date in the diary. This secures your wedding date with BE BRIDAL and the booking fee is then deducted from the total cost for the wedding day.

If the Bridal party number changes, please inform me as soon as possible and I can adjust the total balance. However, should the party number change less than 6 weeks of the wedding date, the initial full balance will still be charged. 

If an assistant is required, there is a £50 per assistant charge on top of the cost of services. If bridal party numbers are reduced and an assistant is no longer required please let me know asap. Should this cancellation happen less than 6 weeks prior to the wedding day, the assistant fee will still be charged. 

 

By proceeding to book by way of paying a booking fee, this accepts that you are entering a contract and agree with the terms and conditions. An invoice for the final balance of your wedding is sent via email along with a schedule of your wedding morning and the date your final balance is due. 

 

TRAVEL CHARGES

A fee will be charged for locations outside of a 15 mile radius of CM3 5TR at £0.45p per mile,

All costs for travel to a booked event outside of a 15 mile radius are to be paid by the client, 

Costs may include, but are not limited to: petrol, parking, toll charges, airfares and hotels. 

All travel costs will be added to the final balance.

TRIALS

If you or your Bridal Party wish to have a trial, we will arrange a date that suits you prior to your wedding.

Arranging a trial before payment of the booking fee does not reserve myself for your wedding date.

Only once the booking form and fee has been received will your wedding date be reserved.

Please note all trials are held at my house in South Woodham Ferrers CM3 and may be mid-week appointments only subject to availability.

CANCELLATIONS

In the unfortunate event you have to cancel your booking, please inform me as soon as possible. All cancellations will incur the following cancellation fees:

Should you cancel your wedding booking after the £50 booking fee has been received, this is non-refundable.

 

If your booking is cancelled within 1 month of the wedding date, you are liable to pay 100% of the total balance due to the likelihood of other work not being undertaken as a result of the booking.

If your booking is cancelled within 3 months of the wedding date, you are liable to pay the 50% of the total quoted balance.

If your booking is cancelled within 6 months of the wedding date, you will not be liable to pay anything further, however, as mentioned above, your booking fee will be retained.

In the unlikely event I have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances and where no other suitable alternative can be arranged, a full refund of the booking fee will be returned to you. No further compensation will be offered however I will do all I can to assist any other arrangements.

If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of myself, I will endeavour to rectify such situations, however, no compensation will be offered. It is advisable for the client to take out wedding or event insurance to cover you against these situations.

 

COVID/PANDEMIC

If your wedding is unfortunately postponed under government restrictions and it legally cannot go ahead, please see below:

Your booking fee paid at the time of your booking can be moved to a new date subject to availability.

If I am unavailable on your new chosen date, your booking fee remains non-refundable, but I will do all I can to assist in sourcing an alternative stylist for you.

Where weddings can legally occur but with limitations and you choose to move your date to an alternative date that I am unavailable, the deposit is non-refundable. If you move to a new date that I am unavailable, then the date can be transferred at no extra cost.

If you postpone within the same year, your original prices will be honoured. Any longer then this and price increases may be applicable.
